Blue & White Pep Bands

 

    BHS has two complete basketball pep bands within the Department, the BHS Blue Band and the BHS White Band. These groups are made up of ALL wind players at Bingham and a few select percussionists.  This is to increase the participation among all members of the bands, and to improve the size, musicality, and public impression at the games. The bands play at all Region, home, varsity games during the regular season for both girls and boys teams. The bands may also play post-season championship games if our teams play at those.  Everyone’s participation in department activities makes these opportunities more enjoyable for music students and public alike, and also minimizes the time commitment for each student by spreading out performances over more students in multiple bands. 

    The following attachments address information regarding the format for the current basketball pep band season, and are updated every season with the new dates on this page and the Home / Band Calendar page, usually before the Holiday break in December. This season's dates are on the Band Calendar. Below are the bands for Winter of 2020 and the dates. Please plan accordingly.
