Preschool Lab Program Information
Jordan School District has an integrated Preschool Program in each of our high schools. The Mini Miner Preschool Program is designed to help train high school students to plan, prepare and present a developmentally appropriate curriculum designed specifically for young four to five year old children. We are currently accepting registration for the upcoming school year. These classes provide a preschool program promoting a child’s cognitive, communication, social emotional, adaptive, and motor development. Students are instructed by a Certified Educator and high school students currently enrolled in Early Childhood Education classes.
- Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of this year.
- Children who are 5 years old on or before September 1, of this year are eligible for kindergarten and may not be enrolled in the CTE preschool program.
- Three year olds may be accepted if spots are available. Please contact the preschool teacher.
- Classes are held Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday from September through May.
- Classes begin the first Monday/Tuesday after Labor Day
- Tuition for our two-day program is $85.00 per month, September through April. See Policies and Procedures Handbook for Payment Schedule.
- Non-Refundable Registration Fee of $40.00.
- To register, parent/guardian must:
- Complete registration through Student Skyward
- Bring the original birth certificate or certified copy to the school to be copied for the student’s record
- Provide the most recent immunization record (or exemption certificate) showing the student is current on all required immunizations (Bring a copy to the school)
- Submit the signed Policy Letter
- Pay the non-refundable registration fee.
