Ap Studio Art: 3D Design

AP Studio Art: 3D Design is an advanced class with a very rigorous schedule. In this class students can earn not only high school credit but also college credit.  In order to receive college credit students must summit a digital 3D Portfolio to be reviewed and scored by AP scorers. To receive college credit student must score a 3 or higher on a scale of 1-5. Some colleges only accept scores of 4 or higher.

The 3D Portfolio is made up of three different categories: Quality, Concentration, and Breadth. Students will complete a minimum 20 well made pieces that demonstrate not only a grasp of creating 3D art but also work that shows development and improvement of a specific concept.

This class meets everyday, 1st and 5th periods. Students are required to be on time and productive in order to complete this amount of quality work.
