Majors For Miners/Grad Cords

Students at Bingham High School may earn graduation cords to wear with their cap and gown for certain subjects through the Majors for Miners program. Cords are received for going above and beyond what is generally required to graduate. Each department offers a major as a recognition of extra effort and excellence in that field. Please fill out the respective application from the list below.

10th-12th grade classes not taken at Bingham, including online classes, are not eligible on applications. These are Bingham Graduation Cords and only original credit classes taken in person at Bingham High School will qualify.

Once the application is approved by department representatives, students are eligible to receive a cord to wear at graduation. Cords will be paid for by Bingham High School at no cost to students.

by 3:00 pm. No Exceptions!

Grad Cord Applications will be available for 2027 graduates on Sept. 18, 2026.

• Performing Arts – Orange / Orange and White
• Language Arts – Dark purple
• World Language – Teal
• Career and College Ready – Blue and white
