Peer Tutoring
Course Description
Peer Tutoring is a course offered for typically developing peers to work one-on-one with their peers who have severe intellectual and physical disabilities. Peer tutors may assist their peer in general education classes or work with them in the Life Skills classroom, focusing on functional academics and social skills.
Peer tutors are placed in a position of trust and therefore are expected to be highly responsible and mature in judgement.
An application and approval is required to take this course. Receive an application from Mrs. Brecht-Waite in room C103.
