Course Description
Advanced Placement: 2-D Art & Design AND Advanced Placement: Drawing
Prerequisites: Draw 1 & 2, Paint 1, Audition (Summer Sketchbook) Class fee required.
This is an advanced college-level course for highly motivated students. Students will produce a well-developed portfolio of their own original artwork following the requirements of the College Board. University credit can be earned by submitting a successful art portfolio at the end of the course. In addition to art production, students will study artwork by known artists, visit museums and galleries, participate in class art critiques, and draw regularly in a sketchbook.
