In following district guidelines, at teach grading period, class changes will not be made after the first 10 days of school.
This includes wanting to add or drop:
- Dropping a class where the credit is not needed
- Changing lunches
- Perceiving classes as boring or unappealing
- Wanting to move to an online class
- Preferring a different teacher
- Getting teacher approval to join a different class
- Adding home release
- Adding Work Experience (Work Release)
- Adding Seminary
- Adding a Teacher Aide
This class change policy was created to:
- Protect curriculum time
- Minimize distractions and disruptions
- Allow full credit and a grade to be awarded
- Prevent students from being academically behind in another course
- Guide students to make committed choices.
*Please note there are few class change options available after the first 10 days of Q1 & Q3.
