Social Ballroom 1

Course Description Social Ballroom 1 (Semester):

In this Social Ballroom 1 course the students will gain a basic understanding of ballroom dance and proper courtship.  We will learn dances such as the waltz, cha cha, line dancing, and swing.  We will learn basic footwork, partnering, lifts, choreography, performance, and improvisational skills.  The material given is designed to help students improve overall in social dance skills and provide performance opportunities.  Be ready to dive into a new world of movement, innovative thought, and boundless creativity.
