Ballroom Team

Course Description Ballroom Team (full year Auditioned Class):

In this Ballroom Team course the students will gain an advanced understanding of ballroom dance and proper courtship.  We will learn all syllabus standard and latin dance styles and more.  We will learn advanced footwork, partnering, lifts, choreography, performance, and improvisational skills.  Students will have the opportunity to create their own dances, teach and work with their peers, and be a part of the creative process of putting on assemblies, half-time shows, and concerts. The material given is designed to help students improve overall in ballroom dance and provide performance opportunities.  Be ready to dive into a new world of movement, innovative thought, and boundless creativity.
